Daisy cries too much

ACCUSATION
Daisy cries too much. A prophet of God doesn’t cry that much.

ANSWER
Crying is almost a daily reality for a prophet of God, because when God raises a prophet, he has two works to do: TO CONSOLE AND TO CORRECT

“Early Writings” , p. 78
I recommend to you, dear reader, the Word of God as the rule of your faith and practice. By that Word we are to be judged. God has, in that Word, promised to give visions in the “last days”; NOT FOR A NEW RULE OF FAITH, but for the comfort of His people, and to CORRECT those who err from Bible truth. Thus God dealt with Peter when He was about to send him to preach to the Gentiles. (Acts 10.). EW 78.1
To those who may circulate this little work, I would say that it is designed for the sincere only and not for those who would ridicule the things of the Spirit of God. EW 78.2

In light of this quote we will see in the next sentences that a true prophet has a life of self-sacrifice, of constant suffering for a rebellious people and is many times led to cry.
More than this, ALL the faithful remnant often cry for the rebellious people.

Ezek.9:4>> And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry (hebrew word means to lament, to groan) for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

BIBLICAL PROOF

Jeremiah cried as well:
Jeremiah 9:1>>Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!
+
Jeremiah.9:18>>And let them make haste, and take up a wailing for us, that our eyes may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with waters.
+
Jeremiah.13:17>>But if ye will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places for your pride; and mine eye shall weep sore, and run down with tears, because the LORD’S flock is carried away captive.
+
Jeremiah.14:17>>Therefore thou shalt say this word unto them; Let mine eyes run down with tears night and day, and let them not cease: for the virgin daughter of my people is broken with a great breach, with a very grievous blow.
+
Jeremiah:31:16>>Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.
+
Lamentations 2:11>> MINE EYES DO FAIL WITH TEARS, my bowels are troubled, my liver is poured upon the earth, for the destruction of the daughter of my people; because the children and the sucklings swoon in the streets of the city.
+
Lamentations 2:18>>Their heart cried unto the Lord, O wall of the daughter of Zion, let tears run down like a river day and night: give thyself no rest; let not the apple of thine eye cease.

Real adventists cry:
Psalm.126:5, 6>> They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

The sealed cry:
Ezek.9:4>>And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof

Jesus cried:
John 11:35>>Jesus wept.
+
KJV Luke 19:41>> And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,
Paul cried:
2 Corinthians 2:4>> For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you.

+
Acts 20:19>>Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:
+
Acts 20:31>>Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with TEARS.

PROOF FROM THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY

“The sanctified life”
Daniel does not proclaim his own fidelity before the Lord. Instead of claiming to be pure and holy, this honored prophet humbly identifies himself with the really sinful of Israel. The wisdom which God had imparted to him was as far superior to the wisdom of the great men of the world as the light of the sun shining in the heavens at noonday is brighter than the feeblest star. Yet ponder the prayer from the lips of this man so highly favored of Heaven. With deep humiliation, with tears and rending of heart, he pleads for himself and for his people. He lays his soul open before God, confessing his own unworthiness and acknowledging the Lord’s greatness and majesty. SL 46.2

“Testimonies for the church volume three”
God requires that those who minister in sacred things should be men who feel jealous for His cause. The burden of their work should be the salvation of souls. Brother R, you have not felt as the prophet Joel describes: “Let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare Thy people, O Lord, and give not Thine heritage to reproach.” “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” 3T 234.1
“Testimonies for the church volume 5”
It may be that the destroyers are already training under the hand of Satan and only wait the departure of a few more standard – bearers to take their places, and with the voice of the false prophet cry, “Peace, peace,” when the Lord hath not spoken peace. I seldom weep, but now I find my eyes blinded with tears; they are falling upon my paper as I write. It may be that erelong all prophesyings among us will be at an end, and the voice which has stirred the people may no longer disturb their carnal slumbers. 5T 77.1
“Christ Triumphant”
At the entrancing sight, the throng joins with renewed fervor in their shouts of praise…. They suppose that Christ is now to take the throne of David and reign as a temporal prince. Their eyes turn to Him to see how He is impressed by the scene. But lo, the Son of man is in tears! CTr 254.2
As Christ’s eyes rest upon the temple, so soon to be desolated and its veil rent when the final act of the Jews would consummate His death, He wept over the disobedient city….
“Counsels for the church”
Have you felt a burden for the one whom you saw venturing into forbidden paths? Have you kindly admonished him? Have you wept for him and prayed with him and for him? Have you shown by words of tenderness and kindly acts that you love him and desire to save him? CCh 255.1

“From eternity past”
Saul’s presumptuous disregard of the will of God proved that he could not be trusted with royal power as the vicegerent of the Lord. While Saul and his army were marching home in the flush of victory, there was anguish in the home of Samuel. He had received a message from the Lord: “It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following Me, and hath not performed My commandments.” The prophet wept and prayed all night for a reversal of the terrible sentence. EP 457.1
“Selected messages book 3”
Another time I was shown a large building going up on the site on which the Battle Creek Sanitarium was afterward erected. The brethren were in great perplexity as to who should take charge of the work. I wept sorely. One of authority stood up among us, and said, “Not yet. You are not ready to invest means in that building, or to plan for its future management.” 3SM 55.3
